Happy New Year from Renew Family Ministries! Renew Student Ministries which is the Youth ministry here at Lake Stevens Assembly we are excited about what this new year will bring! The youth started off this year with a group meeting at MOD Pizza to figure out where we want to go as a group and what we want to learn about this year! Our youth had many funny and “interesting” ideas, but also some great ideas, including game nights and bowling. Along with services to our community like baking goodies for community members to deliver to them on our Monday night meetings!
This year in youth we are focusing on growing our community! Middle School and High School are some of the hardest times for kids socially! Renew Youth is a place that is safe for all youth so that they can come as they are and find others like them and accept them as they are as we all learn more about Christ and how to live a Christ-centered life! We are open to the hard questions, and the silly questions, and love a round of “Throw Throw Burrito”!
