Russ and Denise Larson
Russ is a native Northwesterner, having spent his youth and young adult years in south Seattle. A graduate of Northwest University, he met and married his wife, Denise, in 1981. They have two grown kids, Zachary and Bethany, and one grandchild, Lamont. Russ and Denise bring over 40 years of ministry leadership to LSAG, including stints in Oak Harbor, Boise, Renton, Kent, and serving in Lake Stevens since 2011.
Some fun facts about Russ
Hobbies: music (Russ plays several instruments, including guitar, piano, and brass). Russ is a certified “gearhead”, loving classic cars, and loves spending time with his family, especially his new grandson.
Favorite book: The Bible, of course, but also anything by Brennan Manning or C.S. Lewis.
Favorite Movie: Action movies, especially if they feature a cool car, like in “Ronin”, or “John Wick”.
Favorite Netflix series to binge-watch: Longmire
Favorite Bible Verse: “This is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you” John 15:12
Favorite worship song: anything featuring acoustic guitar, like “trading my sorrows”.
Favorite type of food: Mexican!
