Global Missions

Our church loves to support missionaries and ministries around the world to spread the love of Jesus Christ. We believe that there is scriptural purpose to our church’s involvement in missions:

1. To do our part in helping to fulfill the Great Commission; that is to go and preach the good news of Jesus Christ to every person and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21; Matthew 18:10-14)

2. To minister God’s grace in its various forms to the whole realm of human need- spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual (Isaiah 58:6-10; Isaiah 61:1; Matthew 25:31; Luke 4:18-19; James 2:15-16) 3. To serve the poor (Luke 4:18; Acts 6:1-7; James 2:5) and

4. To honor the foundation of God’s grace to us. Freely we have been given, freely we are to give (Genesis 12:1-3; Matthew 10:8; Ephesians 2:1-10; 1 John 4:19)

To date, we support 13 world missionaries, 2 evangelists, and a number of local programs and ministries. We support each of these through prayer, giving resources, and our regular monthly giving.
